Journey to Children of Shalom: Happy New Year 2010

For a child, we prayed, God answered in a different way. We opened the door of our hearts and there you were. A phone call in late May started labor pains which will last 'til we met Via our adventures of dossier preparation your homecoming became closer to us. Armed in prayer, I arrived to dear husband’s doctor office prepared and ready to camp out until the doctor signed the notarized letter.

The smiling but confused fedex guy, delivered the last piece of document I needed to complete the dossier. It was hard letting go the dossier which took me months to prepare, oh how I wanted to hand delivered it to those anxiously awaiting the arrival of it. Strangers now friends brought together, a day we won't forget

You first came to us in an e-mail just many tiny little pictures, with nothing warm to touch We than received your DVD and saw you kicked a ball with your left foot, say your name and age, tell us where you sleep and wave good bye. In the background of the DVD we heard how sweet and loving you are. Oh! how I treasure this DVD and look at it every day.

You grew in our imagination, in our hearts, and in our minds
You brought us greater joy than we ever thought we'd find
